We are a newly established lab at VCU with open positions at multiple career stages. We are looking for motivated, curious scientists who want to understand how the nervous system changes in disease and how this may be prevented or reversed.

We are hiring a Research Technician to join our collaborative and growing neuroscience team at VCU's Department of Neuroscience & Anatomy! This position supports cutting-edge behavioral pharmacology and rodent neuroscience research under the joint mentorship of Dr. Andrew Crowther and Dr. Victoria Brings. Responsibilities include animal surgeries and behavioral testing, immunostaining, data analysis, and contributing to manuscripts, with increasing independence over time. The position is officially listed as part-time (up to 29 hrs/week), but full-time arrangements can be accommodated for the right candidate.
